**SIBIC, through the Gasterosteus Fund, offers students and young researchers in the field of Iberian ichthyology the possibility to cover the fees of X Iberian Congress of Ichthyology. In the 2024 edition, 10 grants of 170€ each will be awarded.
Target audience: young members of SIBIC and undergraduate, master’s or doctoral students who are not young members of SIBIC.
The candidats should be sent to sibic2024@uvic.cat (with the subject GASTEROSTEUS FUND – CANDIDATE’S NAME), including: 1) Name and surnames 2) Data contact (email and phone) 3) Curriculum vitae summary (in pdf format, maximum 3 pages) 4) Copy of the registration student program (degree, master or PhD School) 5) Title of communication submitted.
The curriculum vitae will especially value the academic and professional merits of the candidates, and particularly the participation in research projects and/or the authorship of scientific publications related to ichthyology in the Iberian Peninsula.
Deadline for submission: 1 March 2024. The resolution of the grants will be made public within a maximum of 20 days from the closing date of the call for applications through publication on the SIBIC website.
Obligations of the beneficiaries: The awarding of grants entails the obligation to cite SIBIC (including the logo) as a sponsor in the presentation.
